The Calcium (Ca) is an element present in the cells, forming part of the structure of the walls and membranes of the same, being basic for the absorption of nutritious elements and also is essential for the normal development of any organ of growth as roots , buds, fruits, etc.
A deficit of Calcium can be the origin of several physiological problems such as pit Bitter of apples, Tip burn of lettuce, cabbage and strawberry (hollow heart), “peseta” in tomato and pepper, bifurcation from the root of the beet, the black heart of the celery, the falling of the capsule in the cotton, the cracking of the fruits, etc.
Calcium is an important element, especially in terms of the quality of fruits and leaves, increasing the hardness, the good presence of them and the period of conservation.
The application of Calcium by foliar route, with the help of N.O.C. Natural Organic Complexant) that exists in the formulation of STOPP Ca-B GR increases the concentration thereof in the fruits and green parts, improving the firmness and quality in post-harvest of the same. The formulation of STOPP Ca-B GR ensures a good assimilation of Calcium in the plant.
